Skipper came to us one week before his first birthday in January of 1997. Son of Garon's Sailor who was a English and American champion. Sailor was a wonderful dog that passed his good traits onto his off spring.

Skipper is a sweet loving dog who settled right into our home, and has no plans on moving out. He has had multiple wins in Open and Suitability and now Veterans. He has placed in Go TO Ground and Racing, even though we don't do this much with him these days. At Mason Dixon Trial 1997 1st in Best Southern Bred & Reserve Best North/Southern Dog 1997 ..... Southern New England Reserve Best Family. .... 2001 National's 4th in Suitability to Raccoon/ Badger. We have been proud to have had him in our breeding program. He has proven to us, he improves coats and adds head and bone to his puppies. This dog has personality plus and has passed his sweetness to his puppies. His hunting instincts will turn on big time out in the field. This boy is all business for sure. Sad news is Skipper is now showing his age at this time he has retired to our home.
